The Father's Heart Intensive Christian Counseling Ministry

Although we are authors, our primary life calling has been Christian counseling. It is our work as counselors that has inspired the writings and stories in our books.

We began The Father's Heart Ministry over twenty years ago in the Atlanta area, and in 2006, we moved to the North Georgia Mountains. We counsel together as a husband and wife team and offer 2 to 5 day intensive Christian counseling retreats for individuals and marriages. We have been blessed to have people come from across the United States and around the globe.

Here is one client's testimony of her counseling

experience with us at The Father's Heart:

"I have had the incredible privilege of

personally working through the content of

The Missing Commandment: Love Yourself with the authors. If you have felt a stirring in your soul that, perhaps, you have never quite grasped the concept of loving yourself the way God intended, read this book. Watch the DVD. But, if you truly want to experience life change, sit across from Jerry and Denise. It is a sacred space where God seems to show up to speak. How many times  have you read a book or heard a speaker and wished you could share a cup of coffee and get their insight on your particular problem? In this case, it’s possible.

Unless you somehow managed to come through life unaffected by childhood wounds, damaging relationships, skewed body image, or self-esteem warped by how we perceive others, you need to find your way to Father’s Heart. Do it. Don’t just read the book, set it back on the shelf, and wish that life could change for you. God wants so much more for you!"

If a trip to North Georgia isn’t feasible (though people have made the trek from all over the world to be counseled by Jerry and Denise), by all means, read the book! You’ll find yourself wanting to recommend it to others who clearly aren’t loving themselves very well."
